Inga Simpson wrote a tale for our times, a dynamic and confronting futuristic story that captivated readers in 2021. The Last Woman in the World was a book I highly recommended. Now she presents a similar post-apocalyptic for a young adult audience and I think this is just so important. This future dystopian tale highlights the ecological emergency facing the environment with a focus on biodiversity and adaptation. The Thinning really hits the spot and recommended to young people and indeed anyone who care about our future.
